Metal masters ARCH ENEMY are currently locked up in the Sweet Spot Studio facilities in the south of Sweden recording their newest studio album which is being engineered/mixed by Rickard Bengtsson (who already produced 2005’s “Doomsday Machine”). After releasing the “Tyrants Of The Rising Sun – Live In Japan” Live DVD/CD (2008) and the re-recordings album “The Root Of All Evil” (2009), the new studio effort marks the long awaited successor of 2007’s acclaimed “Rise Of The Tyrant” album.

“The Beast Of Man” was originally recorded for the 1998 release Stigmata.

The Root of All Evilcontains a selection of completely re-recorded tracks from the band’s first three albums Black Earth(1996), Stigmata (1998) and Burning Bridges(1999), re-energized and upgraded by the band’s current, definitive line-up, which includes vocalist Angela Gossow, guitarists/brothers Michael and Christopher Amott, bassist Sharlee D’Angelo and drummer Daniel Erlandsson.
